Monuments Crafted with Care
At Accent Monuments, we are still employing the same design and craftsmanship practices that have defined the monument industry for decades. Our traditional, artisan-style monuments are:
- Made by hand, from start to finish
- Produced locally in our family shop
- Deep-carved for superior longevity
- Processed with individual care and attention
- Produced (mostly) on American-sourced granite
Our monuments are never mass-produced or “fast-produced” using outsourced, foreign entities that strain American jobs and local craft industries. We believe that your loved one’s life deserves to be honored using premium American materials and ethical production practices to leave a legacy that will truly withstand the test of time.
Hand-Processed Deep-Carve Headstones
Our monuments are stenciled using photo-resist technologies, masked by hand, and hand-sandblasted for better control over carve depth. Our hand-sandblast process also allows us to engrave intricate artwork or emblems at a depth appropriate for that particular design while all lettering remains deep-carved at 1/10th of an inch or deeper. Granite weathers at approximately 1/10th of an inch every one thousand years, essentially ensuring that your loved one’s headstone will stick around for many generations to come. Following the engraving process, each headstone is painted, stripped, cleaned and finished by hand as well.
Produced Locally by Our Family
Our workshop was built by Grandpa Garrison on our family ranch over 45 years ago and was re-outfitted for monument work. All work being done on each monument is completed by Lou or by one of her family members or employees. Our monument work is rarely completed by another local company but never outsourced overseas. It is our company’s goal deliver quality monuments to our clients and to additionally ensure that sustainable, safe, and ethical production practices are being used at every step of the way. If we are directly overseeing production, we find it easier to adequately ensure that our stewardship over the process is correctly aligned with our values and ethics, which also allows us to warranty the product we deliver to our customer families unconditionally.
