Refunds & Returns

Headstones & Monuments

Products that have been customized, personalized, or otherwise engraved per client specifications are not eligible for refund or return. The client assumes responsibility for all mistakes, errors, omissions, corrections, revisions, or replacements required once the headstone or monument has been produced (ie. engraved, customized, personalized, etc.). To avoid incurring the additional costs of a monument replacement due to error, omission, or other mistake, review your Artwork Approval/Artwork Mock-Up carefully prior to granting approval for monument or headstone production.

Replacement Exception

A replacement headstone or monument may be negotiated under these exceptional circumstances: 1) The completed headstone or monument has become damaged (ie. stone split, crack, fracturing, delaminating, etc.) as the result of a suspected material defect within the first seven (7) years of use, or 2) the stone engraving has began to deteriorate (ie. chip, crumble, etc.) substantially in multiple areas of the monument face as the result of a suspected material defect within the first five (5) years of use.

Photo Portraits & Photo Plates

Ceramic, porcelain, and steel photo portrait or plates are eligible for replacement through the photo manufacturer. Portraits are warrantied against theft, vandalism, fading, chipping, or manufacturing defects for life (as long as the manufacturer remains in business). Damaged or vandalized portraits may be brought to the vendor (Accent Monuments) to assess for replacement potential.

Monument Care Products

Monument care products–such as cleaners, solvents, concentrates, consolidators, or paints–are not eligible for refund or return once opened or used. Un-opened products may be eligible for return at Accent Monument’s discretion. A receipt of purchase must be produced to return an unopened product. The method of payment used to make the purchase will be the method of refund offered.
